MAKING SENTENCES
  • Affirmative sentences ex. I speak Cebuano.
  • Negative sentences ex. I do not speak Cebuano.
  • Interrogative: (Question words) “Do you speak Cebuano?”
  • Imperative: (commands) Go! Come here! Sit! etc.

NOUNS: Any word you can put THE before...book, table, happiness
PRONOUNS: Words that can replace NOUNS ie. he, she, it, etc.
ADJECTIVES: words that DESCRIBE nouns ie. big, little, white,
etc.

THE LIGATURE ___ng
VERBS: Types of Cebuano verbs and how to use them. “ I can speak, read, write and understand.”
ADVERBS: HOW verbs do something ex. slowly, quickly, etc.
INTERROGATIVES: How to make various kinds of questions.
PREPOSITIONS: Basically location words.
CONJUNCTIONS: Putting your thought together..”I'm eating rice and drinking a Coke.”

PARTICLE ORDER: “Buwang-bwang ka na ba?” “Are you nuts?”
VERBALS: prefixes and suffixes added to words to change the meaning.
